Dirty rooms, mould in the bathroom, strange smell in the room. Breakfast buffet, but not the regular content - just toast, egg and thai food. Size of rooms was average but very old and run-down. Bathrooms were cramped, poorly equipped and hazardous to shower. Airconditioning controls for all 3 rooms were out of order, always stayed at 20 degree C, freezing! No tea/coffee making facility, no safe. Quality of breakfasts pathetic. Reception staff not friendly at all, then again, generally many unfriendly Thais we encountered on the streets in Hatyai during the 3-days stay there. Frankly, very poor value for money and apprehensive to visit this place again though I last visited this town 18 years ago with great experience of the genuinely friendly Thai people then. The rooms were clean but rather old. There was no hairdryer, safe deposit and coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
